Quality Christian secondary education in Yaoundé, Cameroon

We desire to see RFIS flourish as an international school serving missionaries, expatriates, and nationals while maintaining a Christ-centered education and environment that will empower students for global engagement.

The initial intent for starting RFIS was to support the education of missionary children, enabling missionaries to go out to serve faithfully in their capacities. While serving the missionary community is still an important raison-d'être for RFIS, the school welcomes students from outside of the missionary community including expatriates and Cameroonian nationals. Students are empowered to grow in their faith and to go out to be faithful in God's calling for them.

Accredited for Grades 7-12

RFIS is fully accredited for grades 7-12 through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and MSA (Middle States Association). The School also offers the externally regulated British Cambridge’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and American College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) courses. In addition, the school offers testing for the American College Board’s university entrance SAT examination.

Faith-Based Education

At RFIS, students receive an education that is aligned with the ACSI Christian philosophy of education. All material taught to students is academically recognized, and is also given from a Christian perspective. Furthermore, students are encouraged to grow in their faith through school-led activities such as Chapel and Small Groups.
