Academics
Thank you for considering Rain Forest International School for the education of your secondary schools student. RFIS is a quality secondary school offering a full course of studies in grades seven through twelve. In grades nine and ten, students may earn the International General Certificate of Secondary Education in up to eight subjects. The school also issues a transcript, which can be used to transfer credits to North American schools. Upper level courses, some at the Advanced Placement level, are offered in the last two years. All subjects are taught from a Christian perspective.
Rain Forest International School provides a challenging International Christian, secondary education designed to prepare student to pursue further education internationally. We offer a combination of externally regulated British (Cambridge’s IGCSE-International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and American (College Board’s AP – Advanced Placement) courses as well as a wide variety of internally monitored and examined courses. RFIS also serves as a testing center for the American College Board’s university entrance examinations, the SAT.
We aim for all courses to be permeated with a distinctly Christian worldview and to reflect an understanding and connection to our global community.
Rain Forest International school is fully accredited for grades 7-12 through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and MSA (Middle States Association)
